My name is Jelly, and I’m the proud owner of VintageRe-VibesbyJelly.Com.I want to share a bit about my journey and how this passion project came to life.
A New Beginning: From Stay-at-Home Mom to Entrepreneur
I started VintageRe-VibesbyJelly during a challenging time in my life. As a stay-at-home mom with my only son, I faced significant emotional and mental struggles after giving birth. Being away from my beautiful homeland and missing my family and support system was incredibly tough. New motherhood brought with it a need for emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual support, which I found difficult that time to come by.
The Drive to Provide: From Small Hurdles to Big Dreams
The desire to provide for my family kept me motivated despite the hurdles. With no income and a strong urge to contribute, I explored various online avenues to earn money. My journey began with answering paid surveys, which provided me with my initial capital. From there, I moved on to sewing handmade masks, and other items I can sell in every marketplace platform online to build up more funds.
I even ventured into the food business but unfortunately got scammed by a trusted childhood friend. Despite these setbacks, my determination never wavered. My breakthrough came when a longtime friend introduced me to the world of preloved vintage luxury branded bags.
Discovering a Passion: From Restoration to Resale
I immersed myself in learning how to restore vintage bags by studying online resources. It wasn’t easy, but I found a genuine passion for it. The process of bringing these beautiful, classic pieces back to life and finding them new homes resonated deeply with me. It was a fulfilling way to blend my love for vintage items with my entrepreneurial spirit.
Looking Ahead: Growth and Inspiration
Today, I am still deeply passionate about restoring and reselling vintage luxury bags. Each piece is a labor of love, and I hope that my Shopify store will continue to grow and reach more people who appreciate the charm of vintage fashion.
I share my story to inspire those who are considering starting their own online business. My journey wasn’t smooth; I faced many failures and challenges along the way. However, staying positive and persistent has been key to my success with VintageRe-VibesbyJelly.
